Obsession ~ Jennifer L. Armentrout

NEW ADULT
An ARUM Novel
JLA

Most people grow up knowing right from wrong.

For example, it is wrong to kick puppies and babies.
Or it is wrong to hit a parked car and at the very least not leave an “I’m sorry” note!

Well… I have grown up knowing that the Arum are smoky, skeazy bastards!
UNTIL! Ms. Armentrout introduces us to this hot piece of… of… ALIEN, HUNTER!

Just FYI… I feel like the cover does not do Hunter justice in my mind… This guy…
He looks like a douche canoe.

SO, this entire novel all I hear is LUXEN BAD, ARUM GOOD and my mind is completely fried!

But did I love it? Of freakin course!

Hunter is a bad ass Arum who is kinda like a bounty hunter. He has been hired by the DOD (bad) to get Luxens under control. Who knew? Right?!
Because once again, Luxens have always been good!

And who is Serena? She is simply a young female brought into a gigantic cluster fritter by her best friend Mel.

After some unfortunate events, Serena is put under Hunters watch.

These two have spicy relationship.

Honestly, I love Daemon and Katy… they are still my favorite. But I do wish that I had an adult version of the Lux Series… As we all know, Daemon just makes your skin crawl with all sorts …. stuff.
As much as I enjoyed Serena and Hunters relationship… Katy and Daemon have the best chemistry of all fictional friends.

Tons of useful information is provided in this novel regarding the DOD, the Arum, and the Luxen… also we are given a hint as to what Orgins may be about.

Luc and Paris make an appearance… and we even get a little bit of a Daemon show time… a little, not enough… but I still went all mushy.

FANTASTIC READ!
But TOTALLY adult in content!
You have been warned.

Oh yeah *squeals*
This little ditty comes out in AUGUST!

Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.

After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything.

But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?

And will they even be together?
